This activated carbon filter is designed for deodorisation and control of organic gases, substances and etc. arising from wood smoke, hydrocarbon solvents, VOC, chlorine and ozone.

How does activated carbon work?
Activated carbon is like a sponge with holes of different sizes. Depending on the size of the odours to be captured, a type of activated carbon is selected with the right amount of pores for capturing odours.

To extend the life of the carbon filter, there is a replaceable pre-filter HQ 604 . The pre-filter captures larger dust particles, thus achieving a longer filter life. We recommend replacing the pre-filter every 3 months as the activated carbon is very sensitive to dust. Without using a prefilter, the carbon filter would clog up, reducing its lifespan.
