This pre-filter for the filter HQ 603 captures larger dust particles, thus extending the life of the filter.

We recommend replacing the dust filter cover every 3 months as the active carbon is very sensitive to dust and therefore its performance will decrease faster. Saturation of the pre-filter can be recognised by dirt and blackness of the cloth.
Without using a pre-filter cloth, the filter would become clogged, reducing its service life.
